A campaign to raise money for newly combined homelessness programs in Salem and Beverly has exceeded expectations.
Organizers said the campaign has raised more than $280,000, surpassing the goal of $250,000, with donations still coming in.
The fundraising effort began last summer when Lifebridge and River House, the homeless shelters in Salem and Beverly, merged. 2/27/17
