Salem News Student-Athlete Nominee Brendan Flaherty, Beverly High School. Flaherty a three-sport athlete for the Panthers, Football (Fall), Track (Winter), and Lacrosse (Spring), helped lead Beverly to their first undefeated season (13-0) and a win over Natick in the Superbowl, the Panthers 2nd in 3 years. Flaherty, a midfielder in lacrosse, has also won numerous track medals and is interested in business, taking part in the annual DECA competition. David Le/Salem News
