Salem News Student-Athlete Nominee Emilio Beato, Salem High School. Emilio is a three-sport varsity athlete for the Witches, participating in Soccer (Fall), Basketball (Winter), and Baseball (Spring). Beato won his team's Unsung Hero Award for basketball for 2012, and plays shortstop for the Witches in baseball. Beato plays guitar, drums and also sings vocals in his spare time. David Le/Salem News
