Salem: Chris DiCarli of Ice Effects carves out a replica of a carving by Inuit artist Nuna Parr in front of the Peabody Essex Museum as part of Salem's annual chocolate and ice sculpture festival, called Salem's So Sweet. In addition to the various ice sculptures around town, stores are offering lots of chocolate menu items, free samples, and wine tastings. The event lasts through February 14th.
