Wenham:
Harold Boothroyd, is retiring after 40 years as the Wenham's lumber surveyor and measurer of tree and bark. He is holding a tally rod while standing near a large maple tree in his backyard. Although he never used one for the job, the tally rod was used to measure around the trunk of a tree.
