Salem:
Brooke Foster, a second-grader at the Carlton School, read the most books in the school in 5 1/2 weeks. She read 500 books. Each book read by a student is symbolized by a "snowball", which is one round white sticker that is placed on the bulletin board that is shown in the photo. It was the "Snowball" reading program at the Carlton School.
