DAVID LE/Staff photo. Peabody native David Bethune, has been trying to spread the word about a Reason to Ride, a bike race and walk to benefit cancer care at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. Bethune was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and after staving it off, has returned to biking and is now trying to raise awareness for people to get regular physicals, where his cancer was originally diagnosed. 9/1/16.
