Governor Charlie Baker looks down dejected while listening to the statements of victims during a panel discussion of Governor Baker's dangerousness bill in the Marsh Hall's Petrowski conference room at the Salem State University in Salem. In December of 2021, a package of legislative proposals were refiled by the Baker Administration which includes "An Act to Protect Victims of Crimes and the Public" and "An Act Relative to the Harmful Distribution of Sexually Explicit Visual Materials" that aim to strengthen public safety tools to keep survivors and communities safe.
