Flowers died
Photo by Ken Yuszkus Generous Gardeners.org volunteers, Antonietta Calabrese, left, and Susan Kelly, stand near some decimated flower beds. Lots of the perennial flowers planted on the boulevard aren't coming up or have died. The culprit is believed to be salt left behind by the winter storms. Generous Gardeners.org, which maintains the beds, is having the soil tested and raising money to replant them. 5/4/18
